Working with Open Lists

Bibz provides a number of features to help you work with open lists.  Once you have opened a list, depending on your level of access, you can:

·    Review information about each title

·    Update a list

·    FTP MARC Download

·    Download customized MARC records from Bibz to your computers hard drive for import into your ILS

·    Copy selected titles to another list

·    Move selected titles to another list

·    Delete a title or grid lines

·    Generate PDF

·    Generate Brief  PDF

·    Generate PDF with Reviews

·    Generate PDF with Annotations (McNaughton products only)

·    Generate 3 x 5 Format PDF (not in McNaughton products)

·    Generate 3 x 5 Format PDF (laser printer) (not in McNaughton products)

·    Generate Brief 3 x 5 Format PDF (not in McNaughton products)

·    Generate Brief 3 x 5 Format PDF (laser printer) (not in McNaughton products)

·    Generate CSV File (for import into Access^® or another database program)

·    Generate Excel File  

·    Generate Branch/Fund Report PDF

·    Generate Branch Totals Report PDF

·    Delete all zero quantity items

·    Dupe-Check Lists/Orders

·    Edit by Location

·    Submit an order to Brodart

Remember, to display the contents of a list, click the double right arrow icon (>>) in the Open column next to the list you want to display.  The List: OpenList page displays, where OpenList is the name of the currently open list.  The titles display in the lower, scrolling portion of the screen. 

Note that when you open a list, there are no Secondary Navigation controls on the List: OpenList screen.  Click the List tab to return to the List Manager page.
