Performing a Search

These steps are described in detail throughout the following sections.

To perform a search:

1. Click the Search tab at the top of the Bibz screen.

2.   Select the appropriate profile in the Processing Profile field at the top of the screen or accept the default profile.

3.   Enter search criteria in the Text Searches portion of the Search screen.

4.   Select a database to search in the Databases & Resource Lists portion of the screen, or accept the default to search the entire Brodart database.

5.   Select Search Criteria to narrow results (see Search Criteria later in this chapter).

6.   Select the order in which search results will display in the Sort/Display Results portion of the screen or accept the default Title, Author sort.

7.   Click  below the Secondary Navigation bar to begin the search.  

8.   Review search results.

9.   Select titles and add them to a new or existing list.
