Databases & Resource Lists Fields

Click in the Databases & Resource Lists drop-down box on the Search screen to select a database and associated resource list(s) to search.  Search for titles in the entire Brodart database (the default) or one or more of the available subsets.  If you choose to search a subset database, you MUST select one or more resource lists to search.

The Bibz database options are:

·        Awards and Starred Reviews* subset of complete Brodart database.

·        Sources subset of complete Brodart database.

If you select a subset database or resource list, the box to the right displays the resource lists that are included in the subset database.  You must select one or more resource lists to search.

Databases & Resource Lists

To search multiple lists within a subset database, press the CTRL key while making your selections.  In the figure above, Bibz will search the "Brodart's Spanish Titles" and "Brodart's Public Library Graphic Novels Picks" resource lists, which are part of the Sources database.

If plan allows select titles to be added from the entire database, those titles should be available as other titles available to this McNaughton Plan.  This would be in place of the Entire Database option.  Other databases and lists should also be limited to only titles that qualify for the particular McNaughton plan.
