Adding Selected Titles to a List

Once you have selected titles, you can add those titles to a new list or to an existing list.  The list can be a personal list of titles to keep in mind, a wish list, or a pre-order list shared with other users.

NOTE:  Titles with the following cancellation statuses will not be ordered but may be added to your list:  Must Order Direct, Out of Print Confirmed, Out of Stock Indefinitely, Publication Cancelled, Publisher Out of Business, and Postponed Indefinitely.

NOTE:  You have complete access to any lists you have created.  You may have read-only access, quantity update access, or full access to a shared list.  See the section entitled Shared List Access in Chapter 3, The List Tab for complete details on access levels.

Your level of access to shared lists is established by your Bibz Administrator for each family in which you are a member or another Bibz user can give you access or a different level of access to a particular list.

NOTE:  Lists transferred to your library's acquisitions system and using an EDI option to submit an order to Brodart are exempt from Processing Profile considerations.  If your list is to be submitted as an order using Bibz as you add each title to a list, cataloging and/or processing information for each title is entered at the same time, along with account information.  This information is based on the Processing Profile selected when the title is added to the list.  Thus, it is very important to be aware of which Processing Profile is in effect when a title is added to a list.

You can select the same profile for all titles by using the Processing Profile field at the top of the screen, OR select a different profile for individual titles using the Processing Profile field on the Expanded Display Search Results screen, OR you can select a different processing profile for individual copies by applying a grid template.

For more details, see the section entitled Using Processing Profiles earlier in this chapter.
