To update a list on the List: OpenList screen:
1. Change the specified quantity for a title in the Qty field if necessary. If you do not want to order a title, change the quantity to zero (0) or simply delete that title. Note that you can make an entry in the Global Qty field in the upper left portion of the screen to change the entry in the Qty field for ALL titles on the CURRENTLY DISPLAYED SCREEN ONLY.
2. Change the Processing Profile (on Expanded Display) if necessary. See the section entitled Specifying the Processing Profile in Chapter 2, “The Search Tab” for more details. (Note that you can only change the Processing Profile globally by selecting Update List’s Processing Profile from the Actions drop-down box on the List Manager tab).
Processing Profile(s) that are no longer valid will display Selected profile is unavailable in Expanded Display, Title Detail Display and for grid users, in grid lines. To edit these invalid profiles, click the control and select a valid profile.
3. Select Update List from the Actions drop-down box and click .
OR
1. Apply a grid template to a title. See the section entitled Applying a Grid Template to Selected Titles in Chapter 2, “The Search Tab” for complete details. Follow the steps outlined there, keeping in mind that you are in a list (not search results).
2. Make necessary changes to quantities, profiles, collections, item types, and/or funds.
Note that if you have invalid grid values, they will be displayed in red with invalid notation (AF – invalid). To edit these invalid codes, click the control and select valid code.
3. Select Update List from the Actions drop-down box and click .
Remember, list access and grid attribute assignments control your ability to update a list. See the section earlier in this chapter entitled “Shared List Access” for complete details on access levels.
NOTE: Titles with the following cancellation statuses will not be ordered but may be added to your list: Must Order Direct, Out of Print Confirmed, Out of Stock Indefinitely, Publication Cancelled, Publisher Out of Business, and Postponed Indefinitely.
If you attached a grid template to a title by mistake, expand the grid lines by clicking on the plus (+) symbol, select which grid line(s) you wish to remove, and then select Delete Selected from the Actions drop-down and click .
Note that grid lines with a quantity of 0 will be ignored in the MARC Download and ordering process.
