Click the Index tab at the top of the User’s Guide screen to use the Index. Click inside the text box and type the index keyword(s) to search for (or as much of the word as you know). The User’s Guide displays the first index entry that begins with the word(s) you entered.
If necessary, refine your search criteria, or use the scroll bar and arrows to the right of the index pane to display the entry you want to read. Click an index entry to display the associated text.
Note that if there are sub-entries under a main index entry, you will often need to click one of the sub-entries to display the associated text.
Also note that if you are using the Index in the hard copy of the User’s Guide that the text runs top to bottom then left to right.
