Double click on the appropriate file and the file name automatically populates in free text field at the bottom of the screen.Bibz provides an easy way to import values from your ILS to populate the drop-down boxes when creating grid templates. You can import values for the Collection, Item Type, and Fund Code drop-downs.
Use this feature to update Fund Code values at the start of each fiscal year. When you upload the new data into Bibz, existing drop-down data is OVERWRITTEN.
NOTE: Existing grid templates are unchanged. If fund codes have changed, you must update existing templates at the start of the fiscal year to reflect new fund codes. To alert you to update existing grids, any values that have been removed will display differently on existing grids. The field containing the invalid grid values will be displayed in red with invalid notation (AF invalid).
To update Create New Grid Template drop-down values:
1. In the Update Grid Values portion of the Profile: Grid Management screen, click the download link in the statement:
To populate the grid drop-downs, download this Excel spreadsheet. Complete the values necessary to populate the grid and then save the spreadsheet. Use the Browse button to select your completed spreadsheet and then click on the Upload button.
2. A file download dialog box opens allowing you to Open, Save, or Cancel.
3. Save the file to your computer.
4. Open the file and in the respective columns, enter the Collection, Item Type, and Fund Code established in your ILS, and the name associated with each code that will appear in the Create New Grid Template drop-down boxes. Save the completed file.
5. To upload the new values to Bibz, locate the Excel file
