Entering Multiple Search Criteria

You can enter multiple search criteria within a field.  The implied operator between the search criteria is AND; that is, results include all of the search criteria you specify.

Example:  If you enter

Old Faithful

in the Title field, Bibz searches for titles that contain the words old AND faithful.  Results include titles Art of Growing Old: A Guide to Faithful Aging and Old Faithful.

You can also enter search criteria in multiple fields.  The implied operator across search fields is AND.

Example:  If you enter

Robert Parker

in the Author field and

wine

in the Title field, the search results include only titles that are both written by Robert Parker AND include the word wine in the title.

A search can include a combination of entries in any of the Text Searches fields, one or more Databases, and/or multiple lists from one or more Resource Lists
